Obviously, no one will speak ill of anyone else's work--as modeled in the image above--but we can all benefit from honest feedback. As we approach today's sharing session, remember to give constructive criticism to your friends. You'll want to avoid being a grammar Nazi while also managing to give substantive, thorough revision suggestions.

If you aren't sure where to start, remember that you can always revisit the assignment sheet or the rubric.

Question: Does anyone want to display their portfolio on "Monstro" for additional feedback?

Homework: Keep working on your final materials. Submit before the start of our next class period (Monday, February 11th) by sending your cover letter and portfolio link to me in an email that follows conventions of the email genre. The content of the cover letter should not be copied and pasted into the email. You can repeat some of the information, but you will want to retool your language so as to not sound repetitive. Please create an email signature, too (see p. 379 for an example).

Finally, if you haven't already shared your job posting to our discussion board, please do so. I want to read these descriptions so I understand your target audience.
