To kick off today's discussion, let's look at the post (inserted below) and discuss what's right and wrong about making this sort of statement.

Let's also establish some key points from Chapters 1 & 2 in Technical Communication.
How do the authors define technical communication?
How are purpose and audience different than other genres of writing you've practiced so far?
When do the characteristics of technical documents apply to artistic works? What types?
Have you ever made an infographic (see example on pages 14-15)?
Hypothetically, how might we apply Manuel G. Velasquez's four moral standards to, say a Birdbox context?
What are trimming, cooking, and forging?
What is the difference between copyright and trademark law? Contract and liability law?
When does Velasquez consider it okay to blow the whistle on an organization?
Do you have any questions about social media professionalism?
How do we define the moral minimum?
Have you ever used design to highlight ethical or legal problems (page 41)?
