Theory and practice of critical exposition and rhetorical analysis in traditional and electronic environments; composing persuasive and investigative texts based on research. Prerequisite: ENG 1013 or its equivalent.

Research Presentation Infographics
In this course, the sequencing of assignments scaffolds for students how to conduct and present academic research to a lay audience. Students begin by writing a rhetorical analysis of an academic article, followed by an annotated bibliography, a Rogerian research paper, and then conclude the semester with a presentation of their research (given in infographic form). I have shared one example from a student below, but you can view more examples by following this link.
